Everyone seemed to rebuilding something after 2020 - relationships, career, sense of self, you name it. The underlying question was, "Is It Worth It To Rebuild?" Haunted by this and the hopelessness in many, Kallie and the RECESSMVMT team set forth in the Fall of 2021 to create weekly artistic "disruptors" throughout the streets of Houston. They called the project "The Art of Rebuilding." For 8 weeks, a new zine and guerrilla-style performance would hit the streets of Houston, unveiling a new "key to rebuilding." TAOR gained such momentum that the team decided to reboot the project in 2023, adding short films to each new weekly drop. This was all in preparation for TAOR's grand finale: NOT ANOTHER CONSPIRACY, an original one-hour show feat. 90+ artists that played for two nights at Houston's iconic venue POST Houston in April 2023.
