RECESS Women was a grassroots faith-based community Kallie founded and led from 2014-2019. What began in a small prayer house in Fort Collins, Colorado with 12 women of all ages and backgrounds coming together to seek God, grew like a wildfire to impact thousands around the globe.
Inspired by Kallie's own spiritual journey, the premise of RECESS was to help people break out of religious stagnancy and learn step-by-step how to seek, encounter and know God's love. It quickly became a place of profound healing, freedom and community across racial, denomination and generational lines. Throughout those five years, Kallie developed a 20-lesson book to usher groups into the truth and intimacy of God's power and nearness. In 2019, Kallie published "RECESS: Seek, Encounter, Know," allowing communities to experience the "the RECESS journey" all around the globe. "RECESS Women was one of the most remarkable things to have been a part of. I would not be who I am if it weren't for these years and that community," Kallie remarks.
