Like most who found themselves rebuilding after 2020, Kallie is no stranger to the evolution of vocation, career and calling. Her work with NOT ANOTHER CONSPIRACY in 2022-2023 brought about great vision and clarity on her role and passion in her local creative community. "Everyone who's experienced NAC has heard me say that 'Montrose Matters!' Regarding that beloved arts community in my hometown of Houston, Texas, there is still much for us to uncover as we seek to bridge Montrose's revolutionary past to its even brighter future. In some ways, I feel like our work is really just beginning."
MONTROSE MATTERS houses Kallie's ongoing creative work and has funded projects such as the NAC Short Film "Escape to Rebuild," the NAC movie premiere, and "NAC AT HOME" gatherings. It exists to bridge an otherwise siloed art scene, and to give opportunities to young, emerging artists to move past content creation and into intention, generational artistry.
